Theater Group Teaches Kids About Saving Energy

To help bring its message of conservation home at all levels, TVA is working with the National Theatre for Children to send “The Energized Guyz” to more than 1,000 schools in the Tennessee Valley region.

The program uses a live show to educate children about how energy is made and used, and how conservation helps save money and protect the environment.

Nearly 200 of TVA’s distributors have agreed to take part in the program, which is expected to reach more than 250,000 students by the end of the 2008-09 school year.
