Wilderness Outdoor Movie Theater Is World’s Largest

Movies and stars take on another meaning at the Wilderness Outdoor Movie Theater.

Situated at Trenton in the north Georgia mountains, the theater that opened in summer 2005 offers a hillside viewing area where filmgoers can watch current movies while sitting on a blanket under the stars. The season runs from April to October; admission is $5.

The Wilderness Outdoor screen measures 100 feet wide by 50 feet high, and the entire facility is billed as “The World’s Largest Drive-In Theater.”
